Tow truck companies busy

The below-zero weather is wreaking havoc on vehicles, and that's keeping local mechanics pretty busy.

Al Huss of Al Huss Auto in Kaukauna says they're dealing with more dead batteries, and oil and transmission leaks. He says nothing works as well when it's this cold.

Carl Rowe of John's Repair and Towing in Appleton says the cold weather can impact vehicles of all sizes. He says that's why they have large tow trucks, to handle things like flatbeds and cement trucks.

Rowe says they're so busy right now that they have to prioritize their calls. He says they're getting to people who are stranded first, before helping people who might be at home or work.
