F.C. Greenways looking to 2013
A non-profit group that advocates for trails and bike lanes is keeping a close eye on a series of projects this year.
Fox Cities Greenways president Tom Walsh says they're working with Greenville, on an extension of the CB Trail. He says they're trying to raise money, to help cover the cost.
Walsh says they also hope Appleton continues to add new bike lanes, through its long-term plan. He says the Main Street reconstruction project in Little Chute includes bike lanes, and that will extend the link to Appleton.
Fox Cities Greenways held its annual meeting last night.
Walsh says over the last year, they've been pleased with the new trail along Lake Street in Neenah and the town of Menasha, and the bike lanes on a stretch of Appleton Road in the city of Menasha.
