Walker talks school funding at conference
Governor Walker drew applause from teachers and
school administrators at a conference in Milwaukee today, when he announced plans to increase funding for public schools.
The governor angered many of the same people in 2011, when his collective bargaining law virtually eliminated union rights.
Walker says some of the money that he plans to include in the next state budget could go to teachers in high-performing schools, as bonuses.
