Vet officer weighs in on women in combat
The head of a veterans service office in Wisconsin has some mixed feelings about the decision to allow women to serve in combat roles, in the military.
Navy veteran Tammy Walters works in Oneida County, and she says while it's about time they have equal rights, women do need to consider the ramifications of being in combat.
Walters says many combat veterans she talks with have some kind of post-traumatic stress disorder. She says women who want to be mothers must decide if the combat stress could affect them, when they're raising children.
