80 Appleton students receive award

About 80 Appleton students were singled out last night, for their achievements at school.

Superintendent Lee Allinger says teachers make nominations for the Student Success Awards. He says they named the honor after retired principal and teacher Ron Dunlap, and it reflects on more than a student's academic progress. He says they also consider leadership qualities, and perseverance.

Last night's ceremony was at Roosevelt middle school.
