Congressman Ribble taking input on gun control
The gun control debate is heating up in Washington D.C. and a local congressman is in northeast Wisconsin today, getting input on the issue.
Congressman Reid Ribble was at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton this morning, talking to mental health experts. He was in Green Bay this afternoon, to speak with school leaders. The Sherwood Republican says he's getting a lot of different opinions.
The proposals in Washington include closing background check loopholes, and banning large-capacity magazines and assault rifles. Ribble says he hasn't decided how he'll vote on any of those issues.
Ribble says the opinions he's hearing today mirror those on Capitol Hill.
