Teen used deodorant as flamethrower
A teenager hurt one of his classmates while using a lighter, and spray deodorant, as a flamethrower, in Neenah.
Police Chief Kevin Wilkinson says the 14-year-old boy was showing off, using Axe body spray deodorant, in a locker room at Shattuck middle school. He says the teen got too close to another boy., and singed the boy's hair.
Wilkinson says they're referring the case to the juvenile court system. He says hopefully others will learn from the boy's mistake.
Wilkinson says there are videos on You Tube, showing how to use the lighter and deodorant, as a flamethrower. He says the flame caused a serious apartment fire in California recently.
