Teen brought toy gun to G.B. school
Green Bay police say a student at Edison middle school brought a toy gun to school yesterday.
An officer confiscated the gun, after staff heard that the child had what turned out to be a fake handgun, on the bus, in the morning. The gun had an orange tip on the end.
Police say because of the weather, the student rode the same bus home, and a number of kids were concerned that the child still had the gun. They say some of them called their parents, and police stopped the bus, before realizing it was the same student.
Police ticketed the child, and the school will also hand down a punishment.
