Walker puts more money in defense fund
Governor Walker is putting more money in his criminal
defense fund, to cover attorney fees stemming from a John Doe investigation.
Prosecutors have charged several former Walker aides and associates, from his time as the Milwaukee County executive.
Campaign finance records show the governor put $40,000 in campaign donations into the fund, at the end of last year. That brings the overall total to $200,000.
Walker has repeatedly said he doesn't believe he's a target of the investigation, and he's just cooperating with prosecutors.
