Tourism leader excited about winter season
The cold temperatures, and periodic snowstorms this winter, are providing a boost to the tourism industry in northern Wisconsin. That's according to state tourism secretary Stephanie Klett.
She says while the conditions on snowmobile trails are mixed, it's been a busy winter for skiing, snow tubing, and snowboarding.
Klett says the conditions are better than a year ago, when mild weather hampered the winter tourism industry.
