Tea Party group talks school choice

A Tea Party group is trying to generate support for the school choice program in northeast Wisconsin.

The state's chapter of Americans for Prosperity held a forum on the issue last night, in Green Bay.

Director Luke Hilgemann says they want to continue the conversation, from last fall, and talk about the vouchers and other education reforms.

Hilgemann says they're pushing for a statewide expansion of the program. He says he's optimistic, because Republicans hold the majority in the Legislature and Governor Walker supports the school vouchers.

Right now, the program is in place in the Milwaukee area, and Racine.
