Bishop calls Pope's decision 'courageous'

The leader of the Green Bay Catholic Diocese says he was as shocked as everyone else to hear that Pope Benedict is resigning.

Bishop David Ricken issued a statement this morning. He says it's a courageous decision, and he thanked the pope for his years of service.

Ricken says it's also an opportunity for Catholics to talk about their faith with others, and encourage people to strengthen their relationship with the church.
