Kratz civil suit settled out of court
A former Calumet County district attorney will not face a trial in federal court next week, in a civil sexual harassment lawsuit.
A woman filed the suit against Ken Kratz, after accusing him of sending her sexually suggestive text messages, while he prosecuted her ex-boyfriend for domestic abuse.
Both sides reached a settlement this week.
The trial was scheduled to start next week.
Kratz resigned in 2010 after the messages became public.
The attorneys in the case did not return calls.
