Food pantry truck makes debut in Fox Cities

The Salvation Army Fox Cities is joining forces with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin to bring a mobile food pantry to the area, for the first time.

Spokesman Robb Waugus says they started handing out food at noon today, at the Salvation Army's facilities on Appleton Road in Menasha.

Waugus says the Kraft Foods Foundation provided the truck, and it's an innovative way to fight hunger. He says it gives them another way to meet the needs of the hungry. He says they hope to continue the partnership.
