Brown Co. United Way campaign tops $4 mil
The Brown County United Way topped a milestone in the non-profit's annual fundraising drive.
Executive director Gregg Hetue says they collected just over $4 million, and that's $300,000 more than a year ago. He says the last time they topped that mark was about 20 years ago.
Hetue says the need in the community continues to be greater than the funding that's available, but the additional money will help. He says their chapter supports 40 programs and initiatives in Brown County.
