State ag exports climb
Agriculture exports were on the rise last year in Wisconsin.
State ag secretary Ben Brancel says they set a new record, with more than $2.9 billion worth of exported items. That's a three percent increase from 2011.
He says ethanol was the most sought-after product, but cheese is also popular.
Brancel says Canada remains the number one importer of Wisconsin products. Business with China jumped 49 percent last year.
The state ranks 13th in the country for exports.
