Industry analyst predicts $4 gas
Four dollar gas could be coming this spring. That's the prediction of Erin Roth of the Wisconsin Petroleum Council.
He says the biggest factor is the cost of crude oil. He says if it continues to rise, so will prices at the pump. Roth has been saying prices should stabilize next month, but then there will be increased demand with more spring and summer travel.
In the Appleton area, a gallon of gas is around $3.75. That's up about 35 cents from a year ago.
