B&G Club adding L.C. school site
The Boys and Girls Club of the Fox Valley is planning its first in-school location, outside of Appleton.
Greg Lemke-Rochon is the club's chief professional officer. He says they're going to start offering programming at the Little Chute elementary school, in the fall, thanks to a three-year, $142,000 grant.
The funding is from the Basic Needs Giving Partnership, through the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region.
Lemke-Rochon says they'll have activities before and after school, at the Little Chute location, and possibly some summer programs. He says the group hopes to partner with other school districts in the future.
