Outagamie Co. testing sirens again
The ground is still covered with a blanket of snow, but Outagamie County emergency management officials are preparing for summer severe weather.
Emergency management director Julie Loeffelholz says her office will resume the noon tornado siren tests tomorrow.
The county runs inaudible tests from November through February to prevent damage caused by ice on the sirens. Loeffelholz says some still might have ice on them, but they can't wait any longer to make sure they all work properly.
Loeffelholz says maintenance crews will be out next week fixing any sirens that don't work tomorrow.
