Accused shooter makes 1st court appearance
The woman accused of pulling the trigger in a Greenville murder case will continue to have a $1 million bond.
34-year-old Kandi Siveny of Minnesota made her first court appearance this afternoon, in the October 2007 shooting death of 30-year-old Lara Plamann. Siveny's mother, 53-year-old Dianna Siveny, and 38-year-old Rosie Campbell are also charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
Dianna Siveny is also in custody on a $1 million bond.
The Siveny's are scheduled to be back in court, together, for a preliminary hearing, at the end of the month. Their defense attorneys could try to separate their cases.
Campbell was going to be in court today, as well, but her hearing was postponed until Monday.
Prosecutors think Dianna Siveny wanted the two others to kill Plamann, because she thought Plamann had cheated on her.
