Menasha holding meeting on school referendum
With a referendum on the future of the high school less
than a month away, Menasha school district leaders are hosting an open house tonight.
Superintendent Bob Kobylski says they hope the informational meeting will help people understand the nearly $30 million proposal to renovate and expand the building.
Tonight's informal meeting is at the high school, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The district is hosting another one, on Thursday, March 14, at the same time.
Kobylski says they're offering tours during those meetings, and at other times, during the school day, by appointment.
The referendum is on April 2. If voters approve it, the school property taxes for the owner of a $100,000 home would increase by about $78 a year.
