Wildwood Film Festival returns
Film buffs will converge on downtown Appleton tomorrow for an annual event.
The Wildwood Film Festival is at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Co-founder Jason Buss says they'll have 38 short films, with Wisconsin ties, and they're all under a half-hour.
Buss says they're adding a new wrinkle to the one-day event -- a free "Filmmaking 101" class. He says the cost of making a movie has really come down, with advances in digital technology.
The class starts at 10 a.m. tomorrow, in the Pippin Room, at the Radisson Paper Valley hotel.
The four film sessions at the PAC begin at 1 p.m., and tickets are available online, and in person.
