New London gears up for St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick's Day isn't until Sunday, but the city of New London is celebrating all week.
Laurie Shaw of the New London Chamber of Commerce says when the community transforms itself into New Dublin every year, the welcome mat is out.
Shaw says there's more to the celebration than green beer. She says there are events for all ages.
The community's Irish Fest is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow, and the 27th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
