Bars prepare for green beer
Plenty of bars will offer green beer over the St. Patrick's Day weekend, but the head of the state tavern league says not everyone wants it.
Terry Harvath owns the Wishing Well in Appleton, and he says many places will only put the green food coloring in individual glasses or pitchers. He says there are full kegs available, but some customers don't want their beer "tainted."
Harvath says many bar owners and customers are also well aware of the extra police patrols that will be out this weekend. He expects Safe Ride programs will be quite popular.
