Absentee voting starts today
Absentee voting is under way, for the April 2 spring election.
Appleton City Clerk Char Peterson says it started today, and her office will be open from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, for the next two weeks. Next Thursday and Friday, the office will be open until 5 p.m.
Government Accountability Board spokesman Reid Magney says people should call ahead if they don't know their municipal clerk's hours.
The only statewide races on the ballot are for superintendent of schools and Supreme Court. There are also a number of local races.
