Home sales rise again in Feb.

Home sales were up nearly 12 percent across the state last month, compared to February of last year.

The Wisconsin Realtors Association found that median prices also climbed by six percent, to $122,000.

Economist David Clark is with C3 Statistical Solutions, and he says that's a good sign for the market, heading into the busy season, during the spring and summer.

The numbers weren't as good in the northeast region last month. Sales were up almost nine percent, and the median price was flat, at $112,000. Clark says that happens from time to time.

The statewide sales totals marked the 20th straight month of double-digit increases.
