Zucker directs latest Wis. tourism TV ad
The state's new summer tourism ad focuses on the fun people can have in Wisconsin.
It's directed by David Zucker, a Wisconsin native, and the director of the 1980 comedy classic Airplane!. He also was behind a winter tourism ad that featured members of the Milwaukee Symphony having a snowball fight.
The ad features the misadventures of Airplane! star Robert Hays, as he runs into problems while fishing on a Wisconsin lake. The ad will start running across the Midwest in May.
