HowzYerWeekend?
Monday, Jul, 9 2012
We'll chat our weekends on the show today in the first hour as usual. Mine came close to a 10, but wasn't perfect for one main reason. There was a clear superstar to my weekend as well.
Hint: that superstar is in this picture...
And I took the plunge over the weekend too. I'll explain it all coming up today.
Bucca is opening today....again....after a fire at the new Italian eatery in Grand Chute. We'll chat about that as well.
And Jerry Seinfeld is going to debut a new project soon. I'm interested for a specific aspect of it.
The bulls are running again.
Talk this afternoon.....

Infected?
Friday, Jul, 6 2012
The DNS Changer. Do you know about this? It's bad news for your computer and you may not even know about it or know you have been infected some time ago. But come Monday those who are in infected could lose internet service, not a place you want to be.
So serious is this attack that the FBI has actually set up a safety net and a web site for people to check to see if they are infected. If you are, they also provide links to clean you up in time before losing service on Monday.
I am always skeptical, but I myself tried this site and it all worked fine. It told me me computer is NOT infected. You can check too, just click here to get to the same site I used to check.
I'll talk more about this on the show today. And in the 4:00 hour let us know what's up this weekend in our "Chadoin' This Weekend?" segment. You can post on the PhilCast Facebook fan page or call us live to chat at 281-1150 or 1-866-887-1150.

Record heat
Thursday, Jul, 5 2012
Back on the air in record heat this afternoon after a hot 4th of July break. We'll begin the PhilCast with a Tour de France update right after the Brewers' bullpen somehow figures out another way to blow a game.
I'll also vent about a Wisconsin video that has gone viral this week.

Have a safe 4th.

Flower power
Monday, Jul, 2 2012
Howz Yer Weekend? We'll talk weekends in the first hour of the show today as usual. Mine seemed to involve a whole lot of watering of flower beds. Sunday involved hours of yard work under the hot sun at PhilCast West.
Because after all, gardens like this don't happen on their own.
Almost five hours of work in 90-degree weather was draining, but there is a great satisfaction looking at what you have accomplished at the end of the day.
Tour de France Stage Two today. Complete report after the 4:30 news today.
