Joan Rivers on the PhilCast
Thursday, Mar, 21 2013
Joan Rivers is not only coming to the Meyer Theater in Green March 30th, she's coming to the PhilCast as well next week.Joan joins me on Wednesday for an interview and we're giving away three pairs of tickets to her show.
Wanna go on us?
Just email your question for Joan. I'll pick three questions from listeners and ask her those questions during the interview. If your question is used you win a pair of tickets.
It should be a fun interview too since I'm a fan of Fashion Police myself.
Just email me what you want me to ask Joan. Any 'Joan Rangers' out there?

They're called GIRL SCOUT cookies for a reason
Wednesday, Mar, 20 2013
Don't get me wrong, I love Thin Mints as much as the next guy. I can't watch March Madness games unless there is a sleeve of them and a glass of cold milk at my side. But they're called Girl Scout cookies for a reason. Girl Scouts sell them as not only a fund-raising event, but a teaching tool for them about business as well.
Parents; back off.
Enough with selling the cookies for your kids, and especially at work. Today on the PhilCast I'll have a story about one woman who was fired because she had her kid's Girl Scout cookies for sale at the work place.
Now, that seems a bit harsh to me, but it leads me into today's discussion of the topic of parents turning this into some sort of competition about their kids ability to sell the MOST cookies.
Memo to those parents--that is NOT what this is all about.

Recycling the recycling story
Tuesday, Mar, 19 2013
Coming soon to a driveway near you...Or perhaps your blue recycling cart has already arrived Appleton.
It's all about automation.
And we'll talk about the city's conversion to these curbside carts coming up today on the PhilCast with someone from the public works department.
Then I'll have Reggie re-play the interview at a later date, because it only seems fitting to recycle a story about recycling, right?

When will TV learn?
Monday, Mar, 18 2013
Like the song says, "The times, they are a changin'" but TV news apparently isn't listening.Coming up on the PhilCast Monday afternoon I've got a story about the dwindling number of people watching because they are disappointed with what is being offered.
Plus I just have to relate one of the dumbest things I've seen from a local TV news shop, proving my point that they just don't get the information world we now live in.
Also we'll talk live with our PhilCast 'bracketologist' on filling out our brackets as March Madness....the Big Dance...starts later this week.
Have you entered our contest yet?
CLICK HERE to check it out.
You can't win it if you're not in it. Here is the champion's sweatshirt on the line...
