Meeting Brett Favre

Thursday, Jun, 6 2013

You KNOW that guy in the baseball cap.

The guy on the left has quite a story about meeting up with Brett Favre, and we'll have the Berlin, Wisconsin man on the PhilCast to open up the show on this Thursday.

It's a tale of fan meets star athlete that's pretty cool...and shows a side of Brett that many fans would like to forget.

I'm not in that club. I've never been a Favre hater. Sure I hate the way it all ended, but I lived through the long, lean years and will never forget what he did for Green Bay Packers' fans. Brett and Reggie White brought the title back to 'Titletown' and entertained me for years....and for that I will always be grateful.

So what was it like just meeting up with Brett? We'll chat about it this afternoon.

Customized coffins

Tuesday, Jun, 4 2013

Dying is big business in this country, and it is only going to get bigger as the Baby Boomers start falling by the wayside.

Only when the Boomers go, they want to go Sinatra style; My Way.

Like in a customized coffin.

Here's a dandy for classic car lovers.

On the Tuesday PhilCast I'll have a story about the big business that is going custom now, driven by Baby Boomers who want to take custom control of everything....even their death.

Hmmm, if were to go this route, what would my custom box look like? Yours? We'll chat.

The height of laziness

Monday, Jun, 3 2013

Back for another week of PhilCasting.

During "HowzYer Weekend" we will talk about the new record holder from the cheese eating contest in Little Chute over the weekend.

I'll also be talking about this goofy Whopper holder introduced by Burger King.

I'm not sure what's more bizarre...this hand-free Whopper holder or the fact that this woman in their video of it is using a typewriter????
