"Fat Girls" weren't too happy with this

Monday, Dec, 10 2012

When will restaurant workers learn that people actually LOOK at their receipts? And you know what? Since they really do look at the bill you might not want to insult them with what you wrote about them on that little slip of paper.

There it is...

Your server: Jeff

Your table referred to as
"Fat Girls"

And then when they complained this place out in California tried to just give them a little something off the bill.

Huh...stupid and cheap I guess.

We'll discuss on the Monday PhilCast in the 4:00 hour, after "Howz Yer Weekend?" which will include my Christmas shopping stories at the mall from Saturday.

3-4 is Pack Yak of course, as Rich Ratay and I go over the win in the snow last night at Lambeau. I have a theory here for the big picture that may be a bit controversial. I'll lay it on Rich this afternoon and see what he thinks. Meantime I have yet to decide which Packer to give the Pack Yak Player of the Game award to.

A special Pearl Harbor PhilCast show open starts things off today right after the 3:00 newscast.
Today we remember what was that generation's 9/11.

"The Kate Call" prank

Wednesday, Dec, 5 2012

Bad Radio Stunt Alert!

You know I'm a sucker for talking about bad radio stunts. And by 'bad' I mean so corny it's actually kind of funny.

This one was a crank call to the hospital where Kate is being treated for morning sickness. Some Aussie station pulled it off.

Basically it gives me a chance to post pictures of her here.

As I mentioned on the PhilCast yesterday, I don't think I have ever heard of one guy who doesn't think she's a hottie.

Americans, it is being reported, seem to be just as excited about her pregnancy as the Brits.

Why, I'm not sure, other than the fact that we have no such 'royalness' in this country to follow I guess.

Wait, before I go on I need to post more pictures of Kate...

There we go.

Now, as I was saying...

A boy? A girl? A name? The odds makers have Diana on the list. Given the option my opinion would be to stay away from that whole idea.

There was only one Diana and I think they should leave that alone. Plenty of time for speculation though, since today it was reported that Kate is less than 12 weeks along.

Back to the radio prank....

Someone pretending to be Queen Liz called up for info on Kate's condition and a nurse bought it.

I'm guessing the nurse who gabbed away on the air not knowing she was being victimized by some Aussie DJ's is in a 'spot' of trouble today.

Wait....more pictures....

Calling all "Cheeseheads"

Tuesday, Dec, 4 2012

I have a hunch they may be poking fun of us, but heck, it's still a TV show, so why not?

Coming up on the PhilCast this afternoon some information about a Hollywood casting call later this week in Green Bay for Cheeseheads.

Apparently they want to see you Thursday in your best cheese getup for this show, being produced by a group that has done shows on MTV in the past, for whatever that's worth.

So listen after the 4:30 news today for an interview when you'll hear all the details about how you might be able to be a part of all this.
