The new cups are here

Tuesday, Feb, 4 2014

Thanks to local company Sunset Hill Stoneware in Neenah, who made up these custom PhilCast cups for me.

Manly tea cups is what I wanted for drinking a little hot tea during the show on these cold winter days, and manly cups I got!

In PhilCast color and complete with the show logo on them, I'd say they are the perfect size....and dishwasher and microwave safe to boot!

Click Here to see their website.
Thanks guys!
Salute.

Chicken wing champ

Sunday, Feb, 2 2014

Now THAT's a lot of wings!

I didn't eat any chicken wings on Super Sunday, but about a gazillion pounds of them were predicted to have been pounded down around the country.

Here is Molly, the mother of four who took the title in the annual Wing Bowl in Philly prior to the Super Bowl.

Molly ate 363, count 'em, wings, a new record at Wing Bowl 22.

Not surprisingly, she says it'll be a long time before she eats chicken wings again.

Coming up this Saturday she competes in a pancake eating contest.

Suspended bike roundabouts in Appleton

Friday, Jan, 31 2014

Check this out--
It's called the Hovenring, a suspended bike path roundabout in the Netherlands.

It lights up at night too and looks spectacular.

With all the roundabouts in these parts these things would be great for bike riders.

Plus they're Dutch...perfect fit for the Fox Valley.

Oh, they cost about 30 million bucks though.
