Swim & Gym

Sure, Tuesday night was a great night for the U.S.A. at the Olympics. The U.S. 'pixies' take the gold in the gym and Michael Phelps becomes the most decorated athlete in history. Last night we belonged in the swim and gym.

But all the prime-time coverage continues to be on those two sports.

I've been over this before but it bugs me. The bottom line here is that if you want to see a variety of sports and you actually have a job or school or basically a life during the day you can't watch. NBC is basically saying you can see whatever you want on TV or on line, but don't expect to see it in prime time, which, I contend, is still the time most people watch TV. That's why it's called PRIME time.

Others tell me to just record the other sports.
Not so easy.
Then what?
When do I watch that? If I play back the recording in prime time I missed the big-ticket items of the day (like last night) that NBC had blacked out live.

There are only so many hours in a busy day.

I wish they gave me a variety in prime time.
