Assignment Fox Cities

Yee Lee Vue is a Hmong Family Outreach Specialist at the Appleton Public Library.   In
that role, Yee visits Hmong homes, urging parents to engage their children in reading, even
if it's only picture books to start.
Born in a refugee camp in Thailand, Yee and her family moved to America in 1991, settling
in Appleton.   Through hard work, Yee earned a bachelor's degree in business and a master's
degree in library science.  Reading and teaching are her passion.
Enjoy Yee's story on Assignment Fox Cities.  You'll find it on our home page, whby.com,
under the heading of Audio Vault.
