What I Like About My Job: I love doing play-by-play. I like being on-air, and I like the fact that the sports world changes daily, which means there's something new every day.

Favorite Moment In Radio: I travelled with the Badger women's hockey team and did play-by-play during their 2006-07 National Championship at the Frozen Four in Lake Placid, New York. Mark Johnson is Wisconsin's coach -- the same "Miracle On Ice" Mark Johnson. It was one of the biggest thrills of my life.

Anything Else You Think We Should Know: I used to play basketball and baseball with my friends as kids, and I announced the entire games. It drove everybody crazy. Let's just say, I had a passion for this business at an early age!
Carol Patrizi's Bio
Birthplace: Chicago, Illinois

Education: Loyola University of Chicago, Broadcast Journalism BA; Minor in Theatre

Family: My husband Scott and I met at County Stadium in Milwaukee and married in 1991. We have three daughters, Kayla, Caroline and Claire

What I Like About My Job: Lots! I am naturally inquisitive and typically ask lots of questions, being a reporter feeds right into that tendency. I love being in the know, finding out about things first and getting to pass the information along. Meeting and talking to new people is one of the best parts of the job.

Favorite Activities and Interests: I enjoy Reading, Hiking and Cross Country Skiing (but only when it's not too cold, I am a wimp)

Favorite Music: Love it All! I just had to upgrade my iPod to a bigger version to hold all the music I own.

Favorite Movies: While You Were Sleeping (Sandra Bullock is funny, but the neighbor Joe Jr. steals the show) and High Fidelity (A movie about music, yeah that fits)

Favorite TV Shows: The Closer, Monk.

Favorite Books: The Shack, The Red Tent

Little Known Fact About You: Wooden spoons are my kryptonite, I just can't touch them.

Favorite Moment In Radio: I love radio and I have several favorite moments, but the most memorable happened in Wolf Point, Montana at my first radio job. A huge field fire threatened the entire town and our station was integral in keeping the people up to date with evacuation information. I literally chased the fire department into the fire to keep residents informed.
