Walker: Critics of education funding are cynics
0 0

Governor Walker says people are being cynical, if they're criticizing his plan to spend almost $650 million more on public schools.

Some education advocates are praising the proposed boost in per-student spending by more than $500 million.

A number of Democrats argue that Walker shouldn't be applauded, because he cut more than one billion in school funding since he took office. A large percentage of those cuts were offset by changes in his controversial collective bargaining law.
