L.C. to start a downtown farmer's market
1 0

Little Chute will start a farmer's market in the downtown this summer.

Parks and recreation director Adam Breest says it will be on Thursdays, from June 16 through the end of September.

He says they decided on Thursdays, after looking at what other communities are doing, with the goal of avoiding conflicts.

The market will be at the Downtown Plaza, between the windmill and village hall. It will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Breest says they're going to focus on food and crafts, and they should have room for about 30 vendors.
