The man who made the largest donation to fund the Olympic-size pool at Colburn Park in Green Bay says he's going to sue the city, if he doesn't get his money back.
Bernie Dahlin pledged $300,000 to the project, and gave about half of that up front to pay for project engineering and design.
The city council approved the project and Mayor Jim Schmitt vetoed it because it came in $2.3 million over budget.
Ald. Chris Wery says Dahlin's comments don't surprise him. Wery was one of a group of council members who tried to override Schmitt's veto.
Dahlin says the mayor told him he would let him know by March 6, if the city will pay him back.
