A firm is going to analyze the remaining buildings on the former paper mill site in Kimberly to see if they could be part of the overall redevelopment project.
Village president Chuck Kuen says a developer is very interested in the buildings. He says they're over 100 years old, and there are some architectural elements that are intriguing.
Kuen says they need to do the structural review, before anything could move forward.
The village is hiring McMahon and Associates. The village bought the site earlier this year, in hopes of speeding up development.
