Appleton East high school is 50 years old, and the big anniversary party is tomorrow.

Language arts teacher Corey Otis says they're opening the building, so alumni and the community can see the changes that have been made over the years.

While the events start at 11 a.m., they're holding a program at 7 p.m. It's called "A Patriot Salute/Full Circle." Otis says they're going to look back at the history of the school, and forward to the future.

Otis says they'll have a number of bands with alumni members in one of the gyms. They're also holding all-staff and all-sports reunions.

Everything will be inside because of the weather.
