Bigger Ferris wheel planned for Bay Beach
0 0

There are plans for a much larger ferris wheel at Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay.

The Friends of Bay Beach is donating $2 million for a new one. At more than 100 feet tall, it would be over twice the size of the current Ferris wheel.

Robert Shade of the Friends of Bay Beach believes it will add to the amusement park's reputation as one of the best in the country.

City leaders haven't settled on the location for the ferris wheel, but it could be near the shoreline. The new ride could open for the 2019 season.
