Crews are starting a nearly year-long project in Oshkosh's South Park.

Public works director James Rabe says they're making a series of improvements to the three lagoons. He says they're going to dredge them and stabilize the shorelines.

Rabe says they're going to put a fountain in the eastern and western lagoons.

The city plans to spend about $3 million on the project. Workers will also replace a parking lot, next to one of the shelters.
