The DOT is adding some “Wrong Way” signs to a couple of roundabouts along I-41.
Traffic Safety Engineer Scott Nelson says they get about 75 calls a year in northeast Wisconsin about drivers turning onto an off-ramp and heading toward oncoming traffic. He says crews put flashing signs where it happens most often.
The signs are at the roundabouts at 9th Street in Oshkosh and Mason Street in Green Bay. Nelson says the DOT will continue to keep track of problem areas and they could add more signs at other locations.
