The artwork in a prominent spot in Houdini Plaza in downtown Appleton could be different this summer.
There are 12 spots for paintings or pictures in a tower that’s part of the fountain at the corner of College Avenue and Appleton Street.
Alex Schultz of Sculpture Valley says they’ve tried to rotate them every year, but the current ones will be there for about two years.
The city’s arts commission might look into holding a contest for high school students to put their work in the tower. The pieces need to be square-shaped to fit in the openings in the tower.
