There’s a new lead sponsor for the Mile of Music festival in downtown Appleton.
Fox Communities Credit Union will take over that role for the four-day event.
Credit Union spokeswoman Cathy Harvath believes it’s a great fit. She says one of the goals of their foundation is to support the arts in the community. He hopes their sponsorship will help make sure the event remains free, for years to come.
Fox Communities Credit Union also puts on the Bike to the Beat ride, on the Saturday of Mile of Music weekend.
Mile of Music organizers are planning to announce details of the festival next week, including the first 50 artists.
The seventh annual event will be from August 1-4.
