Plans for a large warehouse west of I-41 in the Town of Lawrence aren’t sitting well with some neighbors.
Georgia-Pacific is proposing the facility to consolidate storage.
A number of people living in the area are concerned about the additional truck traffic.
Company spokesman Mike Kawleski says there’s a community meeting next Friday so they can share information and answer questions.
The site is north of Little Rapids Road, between Mid Valley and Williams Grant drives.
Kawleski expects an average of 75 trucks would be coming and going on a daily basis. Around 75 to 80 people would work there.
