The owners of 25 small businesses in Green Bay and De Pere are sharing their stories during the pandemic.
Downtown Faces Forward is using social media to showcase the people behind those businesses.
Photographer Mark Hawkins says some have been closed for more than a month. He says everyone brought a different feeling — some were scared about losing their business, while others were taking the opportunity to spend more time with family.
Downtown Faces Forward will eventually be displayed in a gallery, and through a traveling exhibit.
