Majority Republicans in the Senate approved a proposed tax cut this morning.
It includes a $250 million income tax cut for the middle class, and a personal property tax cut for factories.
The Assembly is expected to vote on the plan today.
Governor Evers hasn’t said whether he’ll sign in. He’s been pushing Republicans to spend $250 million on schools, and cut $130 million in school property taxes, but they haven’t taken up his proposal.
