A survey found 53 percent of businesses in the state are having issues with Internet bandwidth for their employees working from home.
UW-Oshkosh heard from about 450 companies. Twenty-nine percent say availability of broadband service is also a problem.
Jeff Sachse of the Center for Customized Research and Services says only 15 percent of businesses say bandwidth or broadband access are preventing them from expanding their online services.
He says businesses are also reporting Internet issues at homes where children are going to school online, at the same time employees are trying to work from home.
