Investigators say the fire that destroyed the home of the Combined Locks fire chief's family starte d with a spark from a battery charger that was attached to an ATV.
The fire spread to a snowblower and then the gas tank of a vehicle in the garage exploded. The blaze spread from the attached garage to the rest of the home on Hidden Ridges Way Monday afternoon.
The house is considered a total loss. |
